That passage from Isaiah 6:8 has resonated with me through these COVID times. It's been fascinating to see who has 'stepped up', and not only that, who has grabbed the public's attention.
Who would have thought that a WW2 veteran walking lengths of their garden to raise money for healthcare would become one of the most moving stories of the year - thanks for stepping up Sir (Captain) Tom Moore.
There have been others thrust into the spotlight - this time last year Pro Michael Baker was not a household name, but now the Otago University epidemiologist is a trusted source of information in NZ.
That's the challenge - you never know when your time has come to make a difference.. Be ready.
